Wels in Umido

Ingredients

  • 400 g Wels catfish
  • 30 g bacon
  • 400 g (canned) tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 150°C.
  • Fry the bacon in a pan. Once it is golden brown, add the garlic and the chili flakes and fry for another minute.
  • Deglaze the pan with the tomatoes. Add the capers and let everything simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Place the fish in the sauce and brush lightly with olive oil. Transfer to the oven and roast for 15 to 20 minutes.
